About Pile Press
Printed small batch & locally, always.
Pile Press is a an independent press that publishes a bi-annual literary + art journal filled with the creative works of women + non-binary artists., as well as an Oregon centric literary + art broadside paper, CHUNK. We print with local shops to help fund our community and talented artists in the Portland, ORE. area. Printing with local shops allows us more choice in the things that matter. Where our money goes matters.

Chunk EditorTripp Watson wrote his first story at the age of 7 in pencil on four pages of loose leaf paper. It received little recognition from critics; however, he thought it was “not too bad.” Since then, he’s attended school for writing and gained certificates in copyediting and copywriting. He has various short stories published online, and you can find his rantings about living with anxiety on his mental health blog, OnPanic.
