CHUNK: A Pile Press Publication is an Oregon centric B&W print publication. CHUNK is filled with flash fiction, Oregon authored book reviews, interviews, local/seasonally specific recipes, photography, art, comics and more.

Must be an Oregon State resident to submit. Simultaneous submissions NOT accepted. Previously published works NOT accepted.

Once completed, we will get back to you within three months regarding the acceptance and/or rejection of your submission.

There is no reading fee for submissions to CHUNK.

Comics - B&W comics only and two panels max

CNF + Flash/Short Fiction - 800 words max

Photography - B&W images only and in at least 300 DPI.

Book Reviews - 500 words max, must be an Oregon local author book

Interviews - Please reach out to us via email to confirm details before submission

Recipes - Must focus on local/seasonal food options. Keep directions short and simple (400 words max) and ingredients (not included in word count).

Please note that this printed publication is open to anyone, no matter their gender identity, as long as they are an Oregon State resident.
